Why the advertisement?
The website DRS Central, DRS World Conference, and several local branches of the Dead Runners Society's websites are hosted free of charge by Aerostato, a small running company in Seattle.
Because the Dead Runners Society is a non for profit community, and no budget is available for site hosting and maintenance, the Italian branch of the Dead Runners Society, that is the group of runners owning and managing DRS Central, believe it constitutes a fair trade to return the favor to Aerostato by allowing Aerostato to post an advertisement and receive a few nickles and dimes every time a runner visits one of the DRS Central's or one of the local DRS websites' pages.
However, while we want to act and behave like good neighbors, as part of this simple deal with Aerostato no advertisement will ever be posted on the DRS Central homepage or on any of the local DRS websites' homepages, to respect the Dead Runners Society non for profit spirit.
